Why October 28 and October 29 both appear
The official release announcement uses October 29 and notes October 28 for the United States and select regions. A 02:00 UTC timestamp falls on the previous evening in US time zones, so those dates can describe the same moment.
The earlier September 9 date was replaced. It should not be used for a current countdown.
Check your own platform before making plans
Read the countdown in the store or library attached to your purchase. Launch-week coverage places Steam and Epic at the same announced launch moment. Check the countdown attached to your own purchase for any platform or regional change.
Preload availability, installation completion, and release unlock are separate events. The announced preload time is October 26 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, or October 27 at 02:00 UTC. The listed edition contents do not include an earlier Deluxe start.
