Phantom Blade Zero has a collectible steel-case PS5 Ultimate Edition planned for 2027. October 22 launch coverage identifies Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate physical editions, with the steel case attached to Ultimate. As of October 23, 2026, no exact physical release date or price is established here.
Which edition includes the steel case
The announced physical lineup includes a game disc and is separate from the digital launch editions. The Ultimate physical edition is the one described with the collectible steel case. Do not assume that a Standard or Digital Deluxe preorder includes it.
The steel case belongs to the announced Ultimate physical edition.
The current digital game launch is October 29, or October 28 in the United States and select regions. A 2027 physical plan does not make the steel-case package an October launch purchase.
Check an offer before ordering
A custom metal case can be sold as an empty collectible. That is different from an official edition bundled with the game. For any listing, check whether it identifies the official PS5 edition, whether a game is included, and what format that game uses.
The words steelbook, steel case, custom case, and Ultimate can appear in different kinds of listings. The contents statement is more useful than the headline alone. An image of packaging does not establish stock, a retailer partnership, or a delivery date.
Details still needed for a purchase decision
The 2027 plan does not yet provide a confirmed price, exact release day, or retailer list in the information available here. Regional packaging, the complete contents of each physical tier, and physical preorder bonuses also need their own listing.
If the steel case is the main reason you want the game, wait for a product page that names it explicitly. Buying Digital Deluxe now should not be treated as a reservation for the later physical Ultimate Edition.
