Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for October 29, 2026, with October 28 shown for the United States and select regions. It remains unreleased as of October 23, 2026. The confirmed launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and Windows PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The current release date
October 29 replaces the earlier September 9, 2026 date. If an older trailer, article, or shop image still says September 9, use the revised date when planning your purchase.
The date difference between October 28 and October 29 matters most when you are comparing stores in different regions. It does not establish an extra day of early access for one edition. Check the release information attached to the platform and account region you will actually use.
Choose the correct launch platform
| Where you plan to play | Confirmed purchase route |
|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | PlayStation Store |
| Windows PC | Steam |
| Windows PC | Epic Games Store |
The currently offered purchase options identify the announced launch platforms.
The Standard and Digital Deluxe editions are digital purchase options. Their contents differ, but the listed Deluxe extras do not include an earlier start date. An early item unlock is different from early access to the game itself.
Before planning your first session
Confirm the local date on your store page and distinguish it from any download or preload date. An installed preorder can remain locked until release. Preloading is announced for October 26 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, which is October 27 at 02:00 UTC. No installation duration or day-one patch size is established here, so allow room rather than relying on an exact download estimate.
If you only need to know whether you can play today, the answer is no: October 23 is still before the scheduled launch.
